Track: Lil Boo Thang by Paul Russell
Costume: Slacks, braces - that vibe.
Get ready to groove, swagger and tease your way through a sassy yet soulful burlesque routine! In this class, you'll channel the smooth, funky vibes of Paul Russell's "Lil Boo Thang" as you learn a blend of classic burlesque moves with a modern twist. Expect sultry body rolls, sharp pops, and playful hip isolations, all set to a rhythm that's irresistibly smooth and funky.
By the end of term, you'll be strutting your stuff with style, all while embodying the playful and flirtatious spirit of this funky, neo-burlesque anthem!

Vroom Vroom! Fasten your seatbelts, it's time to get revved up for this Carnivals Sexy HipHop auto jam!
There's gonna be backseat naughtiness, swift lane changes and plenty of wind-swept hair as we leave the audience clutching their pearls yet begging for more!

TUESDAY’S: PADDINGTON PLAY CENTRE

Class: Kinklesque
Class Dates: 8 consecutive weeks commencing 25th March

Back by popular demand is Dominiq’s Kink-lesque, with a brand new routine that is sure to get you on your knees and begging for more. Set to the seductive track Good Girl by Morganne, this routine involves collars, leashes and heavy partner + floor work, best suited for experienced performers comfortable working intimately in pairs.

Class: All By Myself (Together)

Melodramatic, over the top, heart-wrenching emotion, all while trying to upstage each other. These divas can't stand having to share the spotlight, and wish they were on stage All By Their selves.
Live your wildest delulu dreams and perform like you have your own personal spotlight, everyone else is just your backup dancer. We will be blending elegance and drama with the comedy of getting in each others way and vying for the audience's attention. Gloves, gowns, and chiffonography eleganza!

Costume: Gloves, gown, and lingerie are a choose your own adventure situation, to be discussed in class, + chiffon supplied by Lydia

WEDNESDAY’S: PADDINGTON PLAY CENTRE
When: 6:00-7:30pm

Class: Fairy Flags - Spell On You
Class Dates: 6 consecutive weeks commencing 9th April
*Please note, classes are 1.5hours (equating to 9 hours over the 6 weeks) in lieu of a standard 8 week course due to Tink’s Cambodia Humanitarian Circus trip

Ready to put that tech you learnt in action? Or perhaps you did the last term and are begging for more flowing goodness? Here’s your chance!
Combining dance movement, flow and techniques using our silk flag props, we will be learning a routine to Spell On You by Moonzz.
Costumes will be black lacey basics.
Please Bring: your own fairy flags (silk veil flags / half circle veils with rods), water bottle, heels & wear comfy clothing to move in.

Class: Fire Eating Sessions
Class Dates: 4 consecutive weeks commencing 23rd April
Price: $165 for 4 week term - no casuals
Looking to learn the art of Fireplay or looking to increase your fire skills? Learn from Brisbane’s fiery fairy herself!
Sanctioned Fire Queen by Satan’s Angel, Tink has been performing and training in the art of fire fusion with burlesque and dance for over 8 years.
The course will include Fire Eating, live & dead wick pulls, transfers, fleshing & building combinations for fire performance.
Fuel & apparatus use is included in the course.
*This is not a performance/routine learning class
THURSDAY’S: PADDINGTON PLAY CENTRE

Class: Heels & Floor - Sexy Panthers
Class Dates: 6 consecutive weeks commencing 10th April
*Please note, classes are 1.5hours (equating to 9 hours over the 6 weeks) in lieu of a standard 8 week course due to Tink’s Cambodia Humanitarian Circus trip

With a love for 7inches a sassy strut and taking things to the floor, Tink is combining their loves in a unique twist focusing on dance/movement in heels with transitions to the floor and combining some floorplay tricks for your tricktionary!
Moves will be catered for skill levels in the class for the routine.
This terms choreo will be to The Pink Theme by Thomas Vent!
Costumes will be pink (of course) and will include ears & tails - we’re going to be sexy pink panthers after all!
Bring knee pads,, platform heels, water, wear comfy clothing (cover your shoulders), yoga mat for stretch/strength training.

Sitting in a chair in its purposed fashion is grossly overrated don’t you think? Tink is back and creating another wonderful acro chair masterpiece for the Carnival to Love is a B*tch by Two Feet.
This term we will be focusing on slow, sensual & fluidly sexy movements along with gaining more strength and control while we fly around, on and in front of the chair!
Moves will be catered for skill levels in the class for the routine.
Costume will be oversized tees (removal included) & choose your own adventure with lingerie!
Open Level Class – Intermediate best suited - please note, this is a floorplay/acro chair class and not a chair dance class.
Please wear long leggings and covered shoulder and back T-Shirts plus bring your yoga mat, knee pads, platform heels (recommend Hella Heels or Pleasers) and your water bottles.
Some chairs will be available to hire during the term. Please message us first before booking to secure.

FRIDAY’S: PADDINGTON PLAY CENTRE

Class:Fabulous Fans
Class Dates: 4 consecutive weeks commencing 25th April
*Please note, classes are 1.5hours and this will be a quick to action choreo course over the 4 weeks.

Feather goodness is just so fabulous right?!
This term we are doing something different and we’ve not only added a Friday class for the first time ever, but…. we are amping up the learning and will be delivering a choreographed fan routine for Carnival in just 4 lessons!
Routine will be to Fabulous by C.U.T!
we will be mastering the seductive and glamorous technique of feather fan dancing and this term, promises to elevate not only your mood, but your fan moves too!
A select few fan pairs are available for use during the classes – be sure to check availability before booking in.
Recommended for intermediate and above levels due to the length of the course. (please check in if you are unsure on suitability before booking)
Students to wear comfortable clothing they can move in, heels & bring a water bottle.

PRIVATE LESSONS:
All of The Vaudeville Consortium Teachers are available for you to book for one-on-one coaching tailored to suit your needs! Whether you are wanting to work on an existing act to take it to the next level, begin a new routine or simply wish to hone down on some set skills, our teachers have you covered.
Private Lessons start at just $100 per hour in studio and require booking through TVC - contact us for more info or to arrange with a tutor of your choosing.
Fire performance/privates for all levels and various apparatus are also available upon request.

All tuition fees (casuals excluded) to be paid prior to the commencement of term 24th March 2025, unless you are enrolling under the early bird promotion whereby all fees are to be finalized in full by 7th March 2025.
Please note, whilst we cannot offer general refunds, for withdrawing from classes due to medical reasons/covid related reasons, we are most happy to transfer to another term for you or discuss an alternative, please just speak with us directly.
